2018-19_JO Girls Level 6 Team Contract

At Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics, we understand that committing to a competitive program requires dedication from athletes & parents and is a significant investment of time and resources.  Below, is a condensed version of our 2018-19 Team Handbook, as well as date and financial information for the upcoming 2018-19 Optional Girls Competitive Season.  These policies are intended to provide clarity and understanding of the commitments required of XA Team Families, but also to outline the standard Xtreme Altitude is held to as well.  Our goal is for our teams to be safe, successful, and competitive throughout their season. If you need further clarification on any of the policies below, please contact the XA Team Coordinator.

Program Policies 

Athlete Practice & Placement:
Xtreme Altitude reserves the right to:

  • Change practice schedules as needed
  • Change coaching assignments as deemed necessary
  • Cancel or add practice when necessary without financial adjustment
  • Place athletes in the levels we deem appropriate
  • Scratch athletes from competition on any or all events if necessary
  • Revoke team membership of any child or family whose actions are not in the best interest of the program, which does not entitle the family to a refund of any fees paid to that point
  • Does not offer make up classes for team members
  • Requires all team members to attend one week of X-camp in the summer (unless excused by coaches)



  • Xtreme Altitude will make every effort to thoroughly communicate information to our team familes, which includes the extensive use of email & team websites, as well as our Team Handbook, handouts, posted signs, phone calls, and mandatory parent meetings. 
  • We will be available to meet with individual families as needed throughout the course of the year. 
  • It is the parent's responsibility to know what is going on in the program at all times.  Please check email daily,and refer to the team website for information on meet schedules/details, policy questions, upcoming events, etc.
  • Email and voicemails are to be used only to relay general information.  Parents must set up a meeting with the coach or team coordinator to discuss concerns related to their athlete.  
  • Concerns about the gym, a policy, schedule, or a coach should be discussed only with a manager at Xtreme Altitude, not with lower-level staff members, other parents, or athletes.


Drop Policies:
I understand that Xtreme Altitude

  • Requires a 7 month enrollment commitment during the competitive season November 2018 - May 2019.
  • Requires a written drop 30-day notice during non-contracted months I understand that if I choose to drop from this program after signing the contract that I am fully responsible for all competition fees listed below


Injury Policies:
Each injury will be reviewed on an individual basis

  • Only injuries that limit workouts for more than 30 days will merit fee adjustments
  • Tuition only will be prorated based on the adjusted workout time. No other fees are subject to adjustment due to injury.
  • Athletes must report an injury immediately during workout.
  • Parents/athletes must report an injury before workout if it occurred outside the gym. Parents must communicate all medical diagnoses and treatments injured athletes must still attend practice for adjusted workout, unless otherwise advised by their doctor.

Important Team Dates:

  • November 2018: Holiday closure “Thanksgiving” Nov. 22 – 24
  • December 2018: Vacation Closure “Winter Break” Dec. 24 – Jan. 6 (There will be modified practice times during the closure)
  • January 2019: Gym reopens Jan. 7
  • May/June 2019: First week of team closure May 27-31; Summer schedule starts June 3
    • Athletes will also have select single-days off throughout the year to account for the "second week" of team break. These will be communicated in advance. 
  • Girls Team X-Camp: June 17-22
  • July 2019: Holiday closure “Independence Day” July 4
  • August 2019: Fall Schedule starts Aug. 12


Financial Commitments

There are two areas of cost associated with competitive team, training costs and competition costs. Training costs are a year-round expense, and are directly related to the training of each team member. Competition costs are the hard costs of competing and are due during a five month span during season. Below is an explanation of the costs, as well as estimated and actual costs for this year. ALL the fees listed below are non-refundable unless otherwise noted.

Tuition Costs:
Team tuition is calculated annually (based on 48 weeks), and split into 12 equal monthly installments. Team tuition is billed to a credit card on file on the 1st of each month.  No tuition adjustments are made for long/short months or cancelled/added practices, unless practice hours are permanently increased or decreased. 

Level 6 practices 22.5 per week, and the monthly tuition amount is $495.00.

Competition Fees:

  • Administrative Fee – $35
  • Meet Entry Fees – $795
  • Coaches Compensation Fees – $425
  • Coaches Expense Fees – $550
  • TOTAL – $1805

Competition Fees Billing Schedule:
All Fees billed to a credit card on file, unless otherwise arranged.

5 equal installments of $361.00 billed 11/15/18, 12/15/18, 01/15/19, 02/15/19, 03/15/19 (default)
2 equal installments of $902.500, billed 11/15/18 and 01/15/19

Other Costs:

  • USA Gymnastics Registration $59
  • Uniform Costs (varies)
  • Travel Expenses - Xtreme Altitude is not responsible for booking travel or covering any travel costs associated with the athletes and their families
  • Banquet Fee 
  • Team X-Camp - $425.00 ($100 deposit billed April 1, 2019, balance billed first day of X-Camp). Attendance is assumed and applicable billing will be processed unless we hear otherwise.

Refund Policy:
I understand and accept that I am making a commitment to pay the full amount of all fees listed above, regardless of whether or not my child attends or competes the entire season. All fees listed are non-refundable, unless otherwise noted in the handbook. The competition fees listed above are an estimate only and will be recalculated at the end of the season. I understand and accept that I may owe additional competition fees at the end of the season.

Optional Girls Meet Schedule

Athletes are entered into all competitions, and billed accordingly.  If your athlete cannot participate in any of these competition, you must email us by September 30th.

February 15th-17th - Excalibur Cup
March 1st-3rd XAG - March Madness

March 15th-17th - Level 7, 9, 10 State
March 30th-31st - Level 6 & 8 State
April 5th-7th - Level 7 Regionals
April 11th-14th - Level 9-10 Regionals
April 26th-27th - Level 8 Regionals
May 10th-12th - Level 9 Westerns
(Athletes must qualify at Regionals)
